Water Sport Club
The Velenje Water Sports Club is a full member of the Slovenian Sailing Association and operates in accordance with the annual work programme and KVŠ Velenje regulations. By the Jezero Tourist Recreational Centre, on the shores of Lake Velenje, they have their premises and a boathouse. The club organises many sailing educational courses. For the fourth consecutive year they have organised the sailing school programmes with the slogan: “More sports activities for the young – less opportunities for byways!”, where they present and encourage sailing to as many parents and youths as possible. For individuals, families of groups they also organise sports afternoons, days or weekends where you can actively spend your free time by and in Lake Velenje getting to know about the tourist offer and the attractions of Velenje and its surroundings.
Indoor Swimming Pool
The indoor swimming pool is divided in three thematic complexes:
1. Swimming Pools:
2. Fitness studio (on the first floor): area of 70 m2,
3. Sauna centre (in the basement): area of 130m2
The indoor pool’s capacity is 100 persons.
